This policy explains what Reverie collects when you use the website, store, launcher and client, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your Discord account: when you sign in with Discord we receive your Discord user ID, username, display name, email address and avatar.
- Purchases: what you bought, the plan, price and dates. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
- Client use: each running client sends a heartbeat with a random installation ID, the client version, the time, the SDN script it is running, and your IP address as part of the request. We use this to enforce client and instance limits, measure script runtime (for refunds and scripter statistics) and keep Reverie secure.
- Game account login profiles: for each game account you log in with, the server stores a generated login profile (platform and device details used by the game client) under a one-way hash of the account's ID. We don't receive your game account's password.
- Support tickets and anything you write in them.
- Scripters: the GitHub account and repositories you link, including their source code and commit history, and your build requests.
What stays on your computer
Your game account sessions, saved accounts, Reverie sign-in, logs and downloaded scripts are stored on your computer, protected with Windows' data protection where they hold credentials. They aren't sent to us.
Cookies
The website uses a sign-in session cookie and nothing else. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, to take payments.
- Discord, to sign you in.
- GitHub, for scripters who link a repository.
- Scripters see the sales of their own scripts (plan, quantity and amount), not who bought them.
- Anyone the law requires us to share with.
We don't sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and purchase records while your account exists and as long as needed for accounting, refunds and disputes. Client heartbeats are kept only while the client runs; script runtime is kept as hourly totals. Support tickets are kept until your account is deleted.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data, by opening a ticket on the support page. Some purchase records may need to be kept for legal or accounting reasons.
Security
Connections to Reverie are encrypted, and credentials stored on your computer are encrypted for your Windows user. No system is perfectly secure; tell us through support if you find a problem.
Children
Reverie isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
